No God

My bones are dust

Mounded in mass graves.

My eyes, my ears, thoughts enslaved,

Indoctrinated.

This culture won’t mourn my death,

Though it will consume,

Or dismiss my intellect

Measured with ‘enlightenment’:

chronological snobs.

Devaluing difference

Faceless beyond phones

Clapping for cancel culture

Baiting and trolling

Edifying emphatic

polarisation.

Where are the free thinkers?

Ashes to ashes,

Only in dust do we trust.
